Job Summary

Senior NCE Engineer (518065) Stress & Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) / Plano Texas / Peoria IL

Analyze and disposition NCRs (scrap/use-as-is/repair) within production timelines.
Perform classical hand calculations and FEM for structural integrity of primary and secondary structures.
Conduct fatigue life crack growth and residual strength evaluations per Part 25/CS-25 requirements.
Define and justify structural repairs aligned with SRM and Airbus standards.
Prepare clear traceable calc packs and engineering justifications for audits and compliance.
Provide technical guidance to manufacturing and quality teams to resolve build-blocking issues.
Ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations Airbus methods and configuration control.
Work closely with Design Stress Quality and Supply Chain to clear non-conformances.
Contribute to lessons learned trend analysis and process enhancements to reduce recurring defects.
Excellent written & verbal communication ability to produce clear calc packs and dispositions under tight schedule.
