Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end architectural design of a new Data Warehouse from concept to implementation.
Analyze business and technical requirements to propose optimal data architecture solutions.
Create and maintain data warehouse schemas and data models (conceptual logical and physical).
Design plan and oversee proof of concept (PoC) to validate architectural decisions technology choices and data warehouse design approaches.
Integrate data from multiple source systems and design reliable data pipelines.
Ensure data quality consistency security scalability and performance.
Contribute to future-state data architecture and platform roadmaps.
Apply and promote industry best practices in data architecture and data platform design.
Act as a subject-matter expert and provide senior advisory support to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with data engineers analysts and business teams throughout delivery.
Ensure alignment between architecture implementation and operations.
Document architecture decisions data models standards and best practices.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the data strategy.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position

Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture or similar data-focused roles.
Strong expertise in data warehouse design and data modeling.
Demonstrated deep expertise in ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
Hands-on experience with Airbyte dbt labs or comparable open-source data tools.
Strong SQL skills.
Previous experience working with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift.
Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms.
Proven experience integrating data from multiple source systems.
Experience with architecture modeling tools and methodologies (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect ArchiMate TOGAF).
Strong understanding of data governance GDPR security and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills.
Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken).
