Work Schedule:Full-time hours Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm OT hours as available

What Youll Do:

  • Read and interpret blueprints drawings and schematics
  • Fabricate and assemble structural and machine components
  • Perform SMAW (stick) FCAW (flux core) and GTAW (TIG) welding processes
  • Adjust and set welding equipment properly
  • Produce quality welds in flat horizontal vertical and overhead positions
  • Operate cranes forklifts and material handling equipment like a pro
  • Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace
  • Engage in cross-training and continuous development because staying sharp is part of the gig

What Were Looking For:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Proficient experience with various welding methods (SMAW FCAW GTAW) and equipment use within heavy equipment manufacturing environment - must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Certifications: AWS D1.1/D14.1 certifications preferred but not required
  • Physical Readiness: Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment safely
  • Communication: Strong English skills (reading writing speaking)
  • Work Ethic: Hard-working reliable detail-oriented and aligned with ACECOs mission vision and values
  • Safety Mindset: Commitment to keeping yourself and your teammates safe every single day

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Industrial shop environment with exposure to machinery moving parts welding fumes and fabrication noise.
  • Regular standing walking reaching lifting bending and working with hands/tools.
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and provided
