Were building a consumer finance app for emerging markets in partnership with extremely large distribution partners. We are creating a joint virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallet that allows users all over the world to move seamlessly within our financial ecosystem.

Job Description:
The Role
Were seeking a strong Android Engineer to lead our mobile client development. We will also be building an iOS and a mobile-friendly web app in parallel so there may be room to stretch impact depending on your skills. Youll architect the Android stack set standards and build a highly performant reliable and secure app from the ground up. This role could evolve into a mobile lead across platforms as we scale.

MUST HAVE SKILLS
Requirement:
- Strong early stage startup/founding engineer experience
- 8-10 years building and shipping consumer-facing Android apps natively in Java or Kotlin at scale
You might be an especially good fit if you have:
- Experience building for the Latin American Market
- Experience in financial technology
- Good design sense
- Full-stack engineering skillset and ability to flex across other parts of the stack
Requirements
First candidate was very competent enterprise engineering leader but client is looking for someone super hands-on brings some mobile exposure and someone who has start up experience is what they want. NOT someone who has been high up in management at an enterprise corporation which is a big mismatch with this client
