Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Board certified/eligible in Pediatrics Internal Medicine or Addiction Medicine and Adolescent Medicine strongly preferred.
Teaching responsibilities may include participationin clinical education of medical students residents and fellows as a member of the Craig-Dalsimer Division of Adolescent Medicine.
Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient primary and specialty care in Adolescent Medicine at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. Multiple sites of practice are available including a primary care practice specialty care satellite locations and inpatient units and a behavioral health hospital. Unique opportunities are available for applicants interested in an expanding Eating Disorder program.
Opportunities to participate in clinical trials or other clinic-based research projects may be available related to continuous quality improvement health services health disparities resiliency STDs/HIV pregnancy prevention substance use gender eating disorders weight regulation depression and is not a requirement for AC Track faculty.
