Middle School Administrator
Position Summary
The Middle School Administrator serves as a key member of the schools leadership team working collaboratively with teachers staff students and families to foster a safe positive and engaging learning environment. This role requires strong instructional leadership effective communication and a commitment to building a collaborative culture that supports both student achievement and staff growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision for middle school academic and behavioral programs.
- Support teachers in implementing effective instructional practices aligned with school goals and standards.
- Oversee student discipline while promoting a positive inclusive school climate.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents students and the community.
- Assist with school operations including scheduling testing and data analysis to improve student outcomes.
- Support and coordinate professional development initiatives for teachers and staff.
- Serve as an active member of the schools Leadership Team Academic Team and Student Support Team.
- Assist with the coordination and operations of middle school athletics.
- Oversee and schedule middle school elective courses.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid North Carolina Administrative or Principal License (preferred).
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience (middle grades experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of curriculum instruction and assessment practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead inspire and motivate both staff and students.
- Excellent organizational problem-solving and communication skills.
