About the role
We are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic Work Experience Students to join our team for a one week period to learn all about Arbor Education and the working world. The remit and focus of the week will be to embed you in various teams across the company to learn how these teams work together as well as what its like to work in an office environment.
Core responsibilities
- Observe & Shadow: Spend time shadowing teams across the business (Marketing HR Customer Success etc.) to understand their day-to-day duties and how they work together
- Attend Meetings: Join some of our internal meetings to observe professional communication and decision making processes
- Dragons Den: Participate in an entrepreneurial exercise designed for you to showcase what technology you would design to enhance schools and the wider Education sector
- Ask Questions: Fundamentally this is an opportunity for you to learn as much as you can about the working world so were on hand to answer any questions you may have here
Who Youll be Working with
People: Learn how an HR (Human Resources) team works to not only hire people into the business but also support their development and their wellbeing.
Customer Success: Our customers are everything and this team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we keep good relationships with them. This will be an opportunity to learn how we manage these relationships and work with them to get the most value from our software.
Marketing: Without Marketing no-one would know about Arbor so youll get a chance to spend some time with a team thats key to our growth and getting the Arbor name out there!
IT: Ever wondered how we manage requests and get people set up to do their jobs The IT team are integral in managing all of our systems and making sure that we can all deliver for schools.

About you
Were looking for enthusiastic and hard-working Work Experience students to join us but beyond that wed love to see:
- Must be a UK Secondary School student in Year 10
- Must be able to commute to our office each day
- A good team player
- Good communication skills
- A desire to learn and take on information
- Proactive and a keenness to get involved

Interview process
