JOB TITLE:

Part-Time Custodian UW Housing

JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned public spaces meeting rooms restrooms and offices under general supervision.

Job Schedule and Pay:

Work schedule is flexible and primarily performed Monday Friday. Weekends are not required.

No more than 20 hours per week.

$14.00 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and sanitize common areas offices restrooms and meeting rooms.
• Sweep mop vacuum and dust floors and surfaces.
• Restock supplies such as soap paper towels and restroom products.
• Operate custodial equipment such as automatic floor scrubbers vacuums and carpet extractors.
• Clean windows remove trash shovel snow and outside clean-up.
• Set up conference rooms for meetings according to the posted schedule.
• Follow safety procedures.
• May turn on the lights and unlock the doors.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with students staff and visitors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• GED or High School Diploma
