JOB TITLE:
Research Assistant
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide technical and logistical support to multiple research programs at the Sheridan Research and Extension Center and the Institute for Managing Annual Grasses Invading Natural Ecosystems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with field greenhouse and laboratory data collection across a wide range of research and outreach projects not limited to rangeland restoration invasive weed management wildlife habitat improvement and forage agronomy. Additional but minor duties consist of day-to-day maintenance of research farm grounds and fields.

Comfortable working in outdoor environments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
Valid drivers license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Students actively seeking a college degree in range management plant sciences botany or other related natural resources or agricultural field
