This is an exciting opportunity to relaunch your career with JPMorganChase through our ReEntry Program designed for experienced professionals who have taken a career break of at least two years. The program begins with a 15-week full-time fellowship (April 20 2026 July 31 2026) providing comprehensive support and resources to help you transition back into the workforce. Upon successful completion you may be offered a permanent position in a part-time job share arrangement where two people share the responsibilities of the roleoffering the flexibility you need to thrive.

As a Software Engineer III within Workplace Solutions you will join a collaborative agile team dedicated to designing developing and delivering high-quality technology solutions that support the firms business objectives. You will have the opportunity to work with global teams contribute to innovative projects and grow your career in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting thinking beyond routine approaches to solve problems.
  • Create secure high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring design constraints are met.
  • Gather analyze synthesize and develop visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data using insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.
  • Keep the team and key stakeholders informed on the progress of development work.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability.
  • Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
  • Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.).

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies.
