Job Summary

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Sales Compensation Design Specialist for its rapidly growing Global Advertising business. The ideal candidate is curious with strong business acumen a relationship builder with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and an analytical thinker that dives deep into problem solving. They thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment have excellent written and verbal communication are detail-oriented and comfortable working with numerous stakeholders in an environment with considerable ambiguity.

The successful candidate will have experience in sales compensation or sales operations programs designing solutions to support high growth. They should be able to juggle competing projects design (and implement) sales incentive plans to support sales strategies and work across multiple teams to solve complex problems. This person will work closely with the SIC team Sales leaders Finance HR Corporate Compensation and other Amazon partner teams to design and deploy sales incentive programs.



Key job responsibilities
Support sales incentive design for Global sales team(s)
Uses data and analytics to model various Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) scenarios and make design recommendations
Collaborate with team members to build cohesive data-driven stories to describe sales compensation related problems and proposed solutions
Ensure sales incentive plans are implementable via tools process and controls.
Support sales readiness related to incentive program design including content strategy and training delivery.
Support program management of the end-to-end sales compensation design cycle.



- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Experience in finance business management and sales operations

- 5 years of finance business management and sales operations experience
- Experience working within a high-growth technology company
- Experience defining refining and implementing sales processes procedures and policies or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
