DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- To lead the equipment and maintenance team in daily activities to meet equipment downtime and utilization goals.
- Responsible for all tools and equipment for the health of production.
- To ensure that the maintenance expenditure tech overtimes and tech skillset development are above expectation.
- Identify lead and implement equipment improvement activities.
- Perform scheduling and ensure sufficient resources management to support new equipment set-up buy-off and qualification when line expansion.
- Managed and identify spare parts purchase based on needs and requirements.
- Team up with cross functional together with production QA planner and engineering team whenever crisis.
- Technical mentor to the line maintenance techs and engineers.
- Liaise with equipment vendors to improve tool capability.
- Managing employee attrition and retention.
- Managing and coordinating key employee activities to enhance teamwork and working environment.
- Drive for cost reduction project such as dual source qualification.
- Build the next level of staff in the department by delegating and coaching.
- Motivate staff to achieve breakthrough performances.
- Maintain highly disciplined workforce.
- Conduct analysis and recovery plan whenever equipment failure.
- Managing departmental goals and achievement of KPI.
- Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of tasks. Compliance to ISO Requirements company rules & regulations applicablecodes
Education & Experience
- A Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Materials/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years experience in assembly maintenance in a semiconductor/fabrication environment.
- Experience working with die sorting optical coating machines is preferred.
- Good electrical troubleshooting skill and problem-solving skill such as 8-D method.
- Good leadership skills and motivation to bring the best in his/her team.
