Purpose: Lead the Parenteral Finishing Business Unit (BU) Optical Inspection (OI) Device Assembly & Packaging (DAP) and Warehouse (WH) according to global and local objectives and with a focus on business and people development.
You will be responsible for:
Leadership & Governance
Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team.
Represent the Business Unit (BU) to internal and external customers and to governmental authorities.
Operational Excellence & Supply
Ensure a reliable supply of products that meets safety quality and cost targets.
Ensure flawless execution of new product introductions (NPI) and technology/product transfer activities.
Coordinate and supervise all new product introductions across the BU.
Business Planning & Financial Oversight
Lead business planning within the BU.
Maintain adherence to the BU budget.
Provide oversight of ongoing operational costs and conduct regular cost-vs.-budget reviews within departments.
Quality Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with GMP EHS and SSOX requirements and guidelines relevant to the functions under your responsibility.
Maintain regulatory and quality standards across BU activities.
Organization Structure & Process
Organize and provide overall leadership for the departments within the BU to assure safe flawless execution of activities and seamless end-to-end collaboration.
Standardize processes across departments and within the BU to drive consistency and efficiency.
Develop departmental goals aligned with site and platform objectives execute plans and continuously monitor progress.
People & Talent Management
Lead ongoing organizational design in alignment with functional site and platform needs.
Attract select and develop diverse talent across the BU while providing and maintaining a robust succession plan.
Manage performance of direct reports and ensure effective performance management processes across all BU departments.
Foster a Credo-based environment that upholds the companys commitment to employee development and to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Projects & Collaboration
Sponsor lead or participate in local and global projects as required.
Collaborate closely with peer departments including Parenteral Filling MSAT QA QC EHS BEX Engineering and Finance as well as R&D.

Reliable compliant product supply meeting safety quality and cost targets.
Successful timely execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) and product/technology transfers.
Aligned departmental goals and measurable progress toward site/platform objectives and strategy.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and effective representation of the BU to internal site global organizations & external stakeholders.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education: Degree in Economics Science Engineering preferred (MBA MSC PHD)
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years of experience within ideally a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated Operations Department environment.
Experience managing people and resources in an Operations department/function with at least 35 years of people management experience.
Core Competencies:
Operations Department leadership experience within a Life Sciences or pharmaceutical environment.
Experience of technology transfer and process optimization.
Specific experience of manufacturing in GMP environment.
Knowledge and experience in Lean Operations and process excellence methodologies.
Fluency in English and minimum of basic German language preferred.
The role requires domestic and international travel up to 10%.
