HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Clinical Regulatory Consultant to help coordinate and provide oversight for the review and approval of all clinical research activities. This role interprets and applies applicable federal state and institutional regulations and provides expert guidance to principal investigators (PIs) and research staff throughout the lifecycle of a study. The consultant supports the preparation submission documentation and reporting of research activities to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance ethical conduct and protection of human subjects. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented mission-driven professional with strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and a commitment to ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a science nursing or related healthcare is required.
  • Masters degree in healthcare related discipline is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

  • 3 years clinical research experience is required.
  • 3 years clinical research regulatory experience is preferred.

Certifications Licenses and Registrations

  • Successful completion of Human Subjects in Research and Good Clinical Practice Training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Clinical research professional certification (e.g. Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) Association of Clinical Research Professional (ACRP Certified Professional)) is required within 3 years of hire. A masters degree in clinical research administration may be considered in lieu of certification.
