Job Summary
- Assist mechanical technicians and engineers in the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
- Help with the installation disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components.
- Support routine inspection of mechanical systems identifying leaks wear or other signs of malfunction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools equipment and the maintenance work area.
- Carry out basic lubrication cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Transport tools parts and materials to and from work sites within the plant.
- Respond promptly to maintenance calls and emergencies as directed.
- Assist in documentation and record-keeping for maintenance activities.
- Comply with all plant safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- 1 2 years of relevant experience in a mechanical or industrial maintenance role preferably in a wastewater or utility environment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
