Job Summary

MDLBEAST is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through comprehensive testing strategies. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong analytical skills to identify potential issues before they reach production. As a QA engineer you will play a significant role in maintaining the quality and stability of our ticketing platform and products catering to the variety of music festivals in the region.

Tasks

Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover core functionality edge cases and potential failure scenarios.
Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Execute end-to-end (E2E) testing to validate complete user workflows and system integration.
Create and run API tests to ensure backend services meet specifications and performance requirements.
Conduct load testing to verify system performance under various conditions.
Collaborate with developers to investigate and document bugs.
Participate in sprint planning to provide QA perspective early.

Requirements

3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong programming skills and experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Jest Cypress Playwright).
Proficiency in writing and executing API tests (Postman JMeter Blazemeter).
Experience with load testing tools and performance analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to testing.
Experience with agile development methodologies.

Nice to have

Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Experience with mobile application testing.
QA experience with microservices architecture backend and multiple frontend applications
