Job Summary
Job Title: Multimodality Technologist
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Location: Rowlett Texas USA
Shift / Call Schedule: Thursday & Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Saturday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
We are seeking a Multimodality Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Rowlett Texas. Under the general supervision of a Radiologist this role performs imaging procedures in two or more modalities with a 50% focus on an advanced discipline such as CT. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging patient safety and compliance with departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures according to established protocols

Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure understanding and comfort

Prepare patients and imaging areas including positioning immobilization and equipment adjustment

Adhere to radiation safety infection control and sterile technique standards

Maintain imaging equipment and collaborate with engineers and physicists for optimal operation

Screen patients and staff according to safety policies

Obtain verify and maintain all relevant patient documentation (charts history pregnancy status consent forms etc.)

Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure timely interpretation

Provide first aid and emergency response as needed

Serve as preceptor and assist in training new staff or implementing new services

Ensure patient satisfaction by providing timely professional and courteous service

X-ray and CT experience (minimum 2 years in each)

Active Texas license
-
ARRT certification
-
US Citizen or Green Card holder
