Job Summary

Position - Java Backend Developer

Location- Richmond VA /McLean VA (primary) or Wilmington DE (secondary) Hybrid

Duration- 7 Months contract

Experience- 12

Roles & Responsibilities

JD:

DATA ENGINEER WITH JAVA ETL PIPELINES SPARK AWS GLUE

Must Have:

Data engineer
Java -MUST -Not a backend API development but someone used & worked on it from Big data prospect)
Spark
ETL pipelines
AWS (stepfunction Glue & Lambda)
previous C1 experience

Other Notes:

Building ETL pipeline extraction & loading
Receive file from Discover transfer to C1 ecosystem

PLEASE NOTE

Data migration - ETL
This team is DATA not APIs (backend not frontend)
Need Java AND Spark
Biggest struggle is he sees a lot of developers who do product support remediations NO fast-paced developments
This team needs REALLY strong hands-on developers who take ownership (he HATES following up)
ETL Spark & Glue

Essentials skills- ETL SPARK AWS GLUE JAVA SPARK.
