A leading healthcare system in Beckley WV is seeking an experienced Nursing Director (RN) to oversee Surgical Services. This leadership role is responsible for managing perioperative operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and driving quality safety and operational efficiency across all surgical departments.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide operational and clinical leadership for all Surgical Services areas including OR PACU Pre-Op and related perioperative units.

Implement and uphold standards aligned with AORN ASPAN CMS Joint Commission and internal regulatory requirements.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in patient safety quality and service delivery.

Mentor develop and evaluate perioperative nursing staff to maintain a highly skilled and accountable team.

Collaborate with physicians surgical teams and hospital leadership to ensure coordinated patient-centered care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Current West Virginia RN license (or eligible for immediate licensure).

5 7 years of perioperative nursing experience including OR leadership or management roles.

Strong understanding of perioperative standards (AORN ASPAN) and federal/regulatory guidelines (CMS Joint Commission).

BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).

Strategic thinker with strong clinical and operational decision-making skills.

Proven leadership with the ability to mentor and develop perioperative teams.

Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
