Job Summary
Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Acute Rehabilitation
Shift: Night Shift 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 07:00)
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed (facility will try to accommodate)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Orientation: 16 hours

Position Overview
A rehabilitation-focused healthcare facility in the Rochester NY area is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel assignment. This role supports patients recovering from neurological and spinal conditions in an acute rehab setting.
Patient Population
Stroke (CVA)
Traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries
Spinal cord injuries
Unit Details
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:
Days: 1:5
Nights: 1:12
Floating: Yes may float to Medical-Surgical units
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
Acute Rehab hospital experience
Experience with CVA patients
Comfort with mobility and transfer equipment:
Hoyer Lift
Sit-to-Stand Lift
EPIC experience preferred
Certifications
BLS (required)
Additional Requirements
Pending License: Not accepted
Requested Time Off (RTO): Maximum of 1 week allowed per contract
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required per facility guidelines
