Job Summary
Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst Consultant
Location: Columbia SC (Hybrid 4 days onsite 1 day remote)
Duration: 12 Months
Position Overview
Navitas Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst Consultant to support large-scale healthcare IT initiatives. The role involves working closely with project management development and business teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements. This position supports healthcare programs within a structured governance and SDLC framework.
Responsibilities
Perform functional integration regression and user acceptance testing to identify and resolve defects.
Develop detailed test plans test cases and testing processes based on business and technical requirements.
Maintain SDLC traceability between requirements test cases and system components.
Conduct user interface testing and ensure application reliability and stability.
Execute manual and automated testing including negative and usability testing.
Participate in defect triage retesting and validation of fixes.
Create and maintain QA documentation test reports and status updates.
Adhere to established testing standards governance policies and best practices.
Perform reviews walkthroughs and inspections in compliance with QA governance standards.
Communicate testing progress risks gaps and defects clearly to development and project teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a technical business healthcare or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios.
3 years of experience with healthcare operations and business processes.
3 years of hands-on experience with QA tools such as Azure DevOps JIRA or Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large enterprise or e-business systems.
Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile SDLC environments.
Prior experience supporting healthcare programs preferably Medicaid-related systems.
Certifications
No certifications required.
Technical or Project Management certifications are a plus.
