The Manufacturing Engineer I supports the design development and optimization of manufacturing processes within a regulated medical device environment. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency ensure compliance and support validation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design manufacturing processes procedures and production layouts for assemblies equipment installation processing machining and material handling.
Design and optimize machine layouts within plant facilities to ensure efficient and productive workflows.
Define sequences of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment impacting product performance.
Adapt machine and equipment designs to factory and production conditions.
Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.
Inspect the performance of machinery equipment and tools to verify efficiency.
Investigate manufacturing issues and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control (SPC).
Provide engineering guidance on design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize manufacturing equipment and techniques.
Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations.
Other duties maybe assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in the regulated industry. Experience in Validation activities Strong Problem Solving skills and Team Oriented. Bachelor Degree in Engineering completed. Willing to work 100% On-site in Humacao PR.
