Job Summary
Fiber Planner
Were looking for a Fiber Planner to join us at Telia.
Im Lene Berg Manager Fiber Planning and Im searching for someone ready to grow with us. Were a supportive forward-thinking team focused on planning documenting and optimizing Telias fiber infrastructure in Norway. Youll join a dedicated team of 13 professionals primarily based in Oslo Stavanger and Trondheim.
What youll do:
As a Fiber Planner youll play a key role in ensuring Telias fiber network is robust efficient and ready for the future. Youll work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
Plan and document fiber networks across Telias infrastructure
Respond to internal and external requests regarding network capacity
Perform quality assurance on contractor documentation
Support analysis and data quality initiatives to improve network efficiency
What will help you thrive in this role:
Youre a solution-oriented team player who enjoys working independently and collaboratively. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving processes and infrastructure.
Proven experience in fiber network planning and documentation (24 years)
Expertise in Smallworld LNI/PNI for fiber network design and documentation
Familiarity with Telemator and Visio for network visualization and planning
Ability to manage complex projects and deliver measurable outcomes
Fluency in Norwegian and English
Eligible for security clearance
