Job Summary
Join Our Team as a Track Patroller!
Are you a highly-detailed safety-focused individual with a strong background in rail track maintenanceWere looking for a
Track Patrollerto inspect report on and carry out vital work within our depots
As a Track Patroller you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and integrity of our track assets. Your core duties will include:
Inspecting and Reporting:Producedetailed reportsfor each inspection demonstrating your strong eye for detail.You will also ensure anytrack gauges used are calibrated.
Risk Mitigation:Take the necessary action mandated by standards toreduce risk to people and property includingshutting a line when necessary.
Measurement and Accuracy:Accurately measure rails switches and crossings where required.Your reports will be assessed on theaccuracy of defect reportingand thevalidity and accuracy of your high/medium/low priority report.
Stock Control & Escalation:Update stock control lists monthly and forward them to theTESDepot Manager ensuringmaintenance of stock control in depots.You will escalate identified issues in line with theTESescalation procedure and industry safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential Competences:
PTS/Track Induction
MSP & Track Geometry
COSS
Patrolling
Manual Handling Fire Training First Aid
Good Literacy & Numeracy Small Tools
Please note that those with good experience that currently do not hold Patrolling qualification we are able to facilitate the course for you to attend.
