Our client a renowned global healthcare leader is seeking a SAP Source to Pay (Functional Consultant) to drive their procurement and financial transformation initiatives. This role involves analyzing designing and configuring SAPs Source to Pay (S2P) processes including SAP S/4HANA (MM FI) SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass to optimize end-to-end procurement operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless alignment between SAP functionalities and organizational goals.
Note: This is a contractual role which will run through 2026. The candidate must be flexible to work in the clients preferred time zone which may include EST or CEST
The Role:
- Lead the analysis design and configuration of end-to-end Source to Pay (S2P) processes in SAP S/4HANA (MM FI CO) SAP Ariba (Procurement Sourcing Contracts Invoicing) and SAP Fieldglass (Vendor Management).
- Collaborate with business process owners to gather document and validate functional and technical requirements.
- Configure SAP workflows approvals and business rules to streamline procurement invoicing and payment processes.
- Conduct gap analysis between current-state and future-state processes recommending best-practice solutions.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments integrations and reports in collaboration with technical teams.
- Lead user training sessions and create training materials (e.g. user manuals process guides) for SAP S2P modules.
- Support system testing (SIT UAT) and go-live activities ensuring smooth transition and adoption.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency compliance and user experience in SAP S2P processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Ariba and Fieldglass providing guidance on industry trends and innovations
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Finance Supply Chain or a related field.
- 7 years of experience as a SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on Source to Pay (S2P) processes.
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (MM FI CO) SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay Sourcing Contracts) and SAP Fieldglass.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes including vendor management sourcing contracting invoicing and payments.
- Experience in configuring SAP workflows approvals and business rules for procurement and financial operations.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with third-party systems (e.g. ERP CRM and legacy systems).
- Familiarity with SAP analytics tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud SAC and embedded analytics).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
- Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is preferred.
- Experience in Healthcare/ Pharma industry is a strong plus.
