Job Summary

Our client a renowned global healthcare leader is seeking a SAP Source to Pay (Functional Consultant) to drive their procurement and financial transformation initiatives. This role involves analyzing designing and configuring SAPs Source to Pay (S2P) processes including SAP S/4HANA (MM FI) SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass to optimize end-to-end procurement operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless alignment between SAP functionalities and organizational goals.

Note: This is a contractual role which will run through 2026. The candidate must be flexible to work in the clients preferred time zone which may include EST or CEST

The Role:

Lead the analysis design and configuration of end-to-end Source to Pay (S2P) processes in SAP S/4HANA (MM FI CO) SAP Ariba (Procurement Sourcing Contracts Invoicing) and SAP Fieldglass (Vendor Management).
Collaborate with business process owners to gather document and validate functional and technical requirements.
Configure SAP workflows approvals and business rules to streamline procurement invoicing and payment processes.
Conduct gap analysis between current-state and future-state processes recommending best-practice solutions.
Develop functional specifications for custom developments integrations and reports in collaboration with technical teams.
Lead user training sessions and create training materials (e.g. user manuals process guides) for SAP S2P modules.
Support system testing (SIT UAT) and go-live activities ensuring smooth transition and adoption.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency compliance and user experience in SAP S2P processes.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Ariba and Fieldglass providing guidance on industry trends and innovations

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Finance Supply Chain or a related field.
7 years of experience as a SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on Source to Pay (S2P) processes.
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (MM FI CO) SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay Sourcing Contracts) and SAP Fieldglass.
Strong understanding of procurement processes including vendor management sourcing contracting invoicing and payments.
Experience in configuring SAP workflows approvals and business rules for procurement and financial operations.
Knowledge of SAP integration with third-party systems (e.g. ERP CRM and legacy systems).
Familiarity with SAP analytics tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud SAC and embedded analytics).
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is preferred.
Experience in Healthcare/ Pharma industry is a strong plus.
