About the Role


We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known Chinese branded technology company that is a recognized leader in its field operating in the consumer social media and photo application space.


This role is designed for market-native advisor-type professionals who deeply understand how people in their local markets discover use share and pay for social media and visual content tools.


Your insights into local culture digital habits creator ecosystems and business models will directly influence international product strategy localized operations monetization design and long-term market success.


Key Responsibilities


  • Advise on international market entry strategies based on deep local cultural and behavioral insight
  • Identify high-potential user segments including creators influencers and highly engaged consumer communities
  • Analyze how local social media usage content sharing behavior and aesthetic preferences impact product adoption
  • Support the design of monetization models relevant to social media tools such as subscriptions in-app purchases creator-driven growth and content-based revenue
  • Share practical examples and best practices from successful consumer apps and digital platforms in local markets
  • Act as a cultural and commercial bridge between local markets and internal product teams



Requirements

Candidate Profile


  • Local native of or long-term resident in one of the target markets:
    United States Brazil other Latin American countries Europe (UK Germany Portugal Spain) Japan South Korea Indonesia Thailand or Vietnam
  • Deep understanding of local culture social customs media consumption habits and digital trends
  • Strong awareness of influencer culture creator ecosystems and social media monetization dynamics
  • Experience in business strategy growth strategy market analysis or commercial planning for consumer-facing apps or platforms
  • Able to translate real-world market insight into clear actionable recommendations
  • Chinese communication ability is an advantage especially for candidates working closely with China-based teams


Engagement Model & Location


  • Advisor / Consultant model preferred (part-time project-based or retainer)
  • Open to candidates based in Mainland China or located locally in target markets
  • Preferred China locations: Shenzhen Xiamen or Beijing
  • Full-time employment is possible for candidates legally employable in Mainland China but advisory engagements are prioritized
