As a PRN PCT member of our Internal Resource Pool you will be the heartbeat of support helping teams deliver quality care every shift. Youll have the flexibility to pick up shifts between 200 and 900 hours per year (12 months from hire). From Labor & Delivery and Emergency to Med Surg Telemetry and more youll work across diverse clinical areas while supporting the exceptional care Community is known for. Working under the supervision of licensed clinical staff youll play an essential role in maintaining patient comfort safety and efficient unit operations.

• Assist with direct patient care including vital signs hygiene mobility feeding intake/output and other daily activities.
• Support nurses and providers in patient monitoring documentation and coordination to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient rooms equipment and supplies to promote a safe and organized environment.
• Provide clerical and administrative support facilitating communication within the care team.

• 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• One of the following is required
  • CNA - State of California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (active or inactive status is acceptable)
  • EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (active or inactive status is acceptable)
  • AEMT - Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (active or inactive status is acceptable)
  • PARAMEDICC - Paramedic Certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (active or inactive status is acceptable)
  • Enrollment in or completion of an accredited clinical RN or LVN program
