Job Summary
Provide clinical laboratory coordination support and oversight to Benton County Health Department as well as the Community Health Centers of Benton and Linn Counties. Responsible for all elements of the clinical laboratory operations from point of patient reception specimen collection specimen processing staff training staff education and reporting. Responsible for ensuring that the laboratory adheres to all established CLIA HIPAA OSHA FQHC and OHA requirements and standards.
Minimum Qualifications The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
Associates degree or 2 year technical degree in a field related to the assignment; AND
5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 1 year oflaboratory field and/or equivalent clinical experience.
Special Requirements:
Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
Valid Oregon drivers license or ability to obtain upon hire. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.

Experience with point of patient reception
Experience with specimen collection specimen processing
Experience with CLIA HIPAA OSHA FQHC and OHA requirements and standards
Experience managing a laboratory
Supervisory experience and staff training
