- St Lukes Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates from three Dublin locations St Lukes Hospital Rathgar and St Lukes Radiation Oncology Centres on the campuses of St James and Beaumont Hospitals.
The Network provides a full range of world class treatments including a comprehensive VMAT programme Intra-cranial Stereotactic (SRS) Extra-cranial Stereotactic (SBRT) Total Body Irradiation (TBI) and the national paediatric radiation oncology service. There is also a comprehensive brachytherapy service provided including both prostate seeds and ocular brachytherapy.
Radiation Therapists in SLRON are required to carry out all duties of a radiation therapist in order to provide an efficient and effective service to patients. Radiation Therapists may rotate through the various areas of the radiotherapy department including the treatment delivery planning incorporating CT / MRI simulation contouring and treatment planning. Radiation Therapists are responsible for scheduling patients for their procedures collation of patient information and plan checking.
There are currently a number of vacancies across the St Lukes Radiation Oncology Network of both full time part time permanent and temporary nature.
