Whats it like to be a Speech Pathologist at Gen Physio
Our Speech team support a diverse caseload of care to our NDIS Support at home and private clients with your caseload built around your experience and in a time frame that is tailored to your developing skills and abilities as a graduate.
How does GenPhysio support our Graduate Speechies
- Start strong with our 6-week structured onboarding designed to help you settle into your role as a Speech Pathologist build meaningful team connections and confidently step into community practice.
- Gradual progression into the client space we go at your pace with built in admin blocks to allow you to review and reflect each week.
- Supervision 1:1 weekly Supervision with our in-house experienced team of Speech Supervisors: when you need it for as long as you need it- support in your caseload each step of the way
- Group discipline specific supervision meetings with the entire Speech complete short professional development courses discuss cases and connect as a team
- Regular skills assessments to gradually build your caseload based on your learning/interests
- MDT catch ups with your team of fellow Speechies Physios OTs Podiatrists Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists.
- Client Services and Client Accounts team to support bookings process while you are shown how to support your own gradual caseload.

- Flexible working options from the start: full time part time 9-day fortnight select the option that supports your ideal life balance as you adjust to becoming a Clinician.
- $2000 Professional Development spend per financial year plus 3 days paid study leave
- $8000 annual vehicle allowance (pro rata in each fortnightly payrun)
- New Starter kit we supply everything you need to settle in: Laptop Company mobile phone with data plan and iPad once you start to attend clients we fund and order any additional resources and equipment to make sure you have what you need to be support your clients

What do you need to have
- Tertiary qualifications
- SPA registration (or eligiblilty)
- Drivers license & vehicle
- National Police Check First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Workers screening (or willing to obtain)
- Working with Children check
- Appropriate working rights
