Overview:
Under general direction the CIS student employee/intern maintains prepares processes reconciles and verifies various data forms records and reports related to Oaktons Office of Grant Strategy and Development. Assists with design and development of databases and reports. Data may include grant fields and student records. Assists the Work- based learning Department with data entry records keeping and replying via email or phone to general inquiries. Performs related duties as assigned.

-Maintains prepares processes reconciles and verifies various data forms records and reports related to Oaktons Office of Grant Strategy and Development. (CD CT CM PF TW TC)
- Assists with design development and maintenance of databases and reports. (CD CM CT LD PF TW TC)

- Regularly handles confidential data. (CD CT PF TW TC)
- Replying via email or phone to general inquiries providing professional customer service. (CM EI TW)

- Must be enrolled at Oakton College in at least 6 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters. Employment over the summer is allowed for students taking at least 1 credit class during the summer or students continuing registration into the following fall semester.
- Must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher and be in good standing at Oakton College.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Basic knowledge of Google Suite tools.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software.
- Candidates must have good communication customer service and phone skills and willing to learn.
- Self- motivated and possess an ability to work with people and help with computer- related questions and challenges with courtesy responsibility diligence and helpfulness.
- Must be able to work in an efficient professional manner and with minimal supervision at times.
- Must be accountable and trustworthy with organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to document work.
