About the RoleThe Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in leading Hoffmasters frontline operations. Youll oversee production distribution and maintenance activities while ensuring safety quality and efficiency on the floor. From coaching hourly employees to driving continuous improvement initiatives youll help deliver operational excellence and support the success of our manufacturing Youll DoOversee production distribution and maintenance activities to meet daily operational quality and customer all employees follow Food Safety GMP HACCP and company safety standards proactively preventing workplace key metrics identify trends and implement action plans to improve production efficiency and with rollouts of new methods tools or equipment to reduce labor material costs and ergonomic hourly employees and Group Leads provide guidance coach for performance and escalate issues as proactively with Plant Managers CI Managers and cross-functional teams to resolve operational in safety operational and cross-functional meetings to support plant goals and continuous improvement other duties as assigned to flexibly support the business and meet production and customer Were Looking For5 years of manufacturing leadership team supervision skills with the ability to deliver operational and problem-solving abilities with experience monitoring with ERP systems Time & Attendance systems and Microsoft Office of Lean Kaizen 5S or other continuous improvement : Mechanical/technical experience union oversight distribution/logistics knowledge project management ValuesSafety Teamwork Customer Focus Ownership Initiative CreativityAt Hoffmaster our core values guide how we work and support each other every day.
