Job Summary
Heres What You Need
- Associates Degree Nursing required; BSN preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days of hire required
- IBCLC - Lactation Consultant 2 years required
- 1 Year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program or a THR residency program required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Functions as an expert resource on breastfeeding issues for patients families community staff and physicians.
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers.

Work hours:Full-Time (36 Hours) - Day Shift -4/8 hour shifts from 6:45am - 4:15pm

- 14 bed Obstetrics /Gynecology / Antepartum Unit
- 12 bed Mother/Baby and Maternal/Newborn Unit
- 9 bed LDR 3 OR suites 4 bed OB ED unit with an average of 200 deliveries a month
- Level II NICU

- OB Hospitalist onsite 24 hours
