Job Summary
At Thales We are looking for a Finance Trainee to join our Finance Team in Argentina. This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to gain hands-on experience in a multinational environment supporting financial operations reporting and audit activities.
As a Finance Trainee you will work closely with finance professionals and internal stakeholders contributing to accurate financial processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Local Finance Team with general financial tasks and reporting activities.
- Act as an intermediate point between Finance and external/internal advisors ensuring proper documentation flow.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Assist with monthly OPEX analysis and cost tracking.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Student of Accounting Administration Finance or related fields
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Proactive detail-oriented and eager to learn in a corporate environment.
- Argentinian citizenship or work permit.
- Hybrid role office based in Buenos Aires Argentina.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel (formulas pivot tables data analysis)
- PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar) is a plus
