Location: Miami FL 33175
Schedule: Full-Time Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends)
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Compensation: $30.34 $41.50 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation: Available on a case-by-case basis
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in a high-acuity acute care environment. This role involves delivering diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation and responding to emergent clinical situations. The RRT will work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe effective and timely respiratory support for diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments including breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressure
Conduct diagnostic procedures to assess patient response and guide respiratory care plans
Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery systems aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy
Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate monitor and maintain mechanical ventilation
Monitor patients for therapeutic effectiveness and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
Support safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients when required
Respond to emergency situations ensuring airway management and effective ventilation during resuscitation events
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to departmental policies clinical standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and multidisciplinary care teams
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree or completion of an accredited vocational program in Respiratory Care
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) credential
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
Strong clinical judgment with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced acute care setting
