Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Youll join our embedded software team to build and verify software for safety-critical systems. Working with experienced engineers youll learn our development lifecycle contribute to deliverables and grow your skills through hands-on projects mentorship and training.

Translate requirements into design implementation and verification for embedded software
Follow defined standards procedures and quality requirements for regulated environments
Prepare and present technical findings to internal stakeholders
Document designs code tests and results consistent with engineering policies
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and team stand-ups
Share ideas openly and help improve team practices and tools
Provide timely updates on risks issues and progress; support short-term planning to resolve blockers

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science Software Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field; or equivalent practical experience
Programming experience in at least one of C/C or Python; familiarity with version control
Understanding of embedded systems concepts (e.g. interrupts memory real-time constraints) from coursework projects or internships
Strong problem-solving teamwork and communication skills
Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools processes and domains; dependable at planning and prioritizing tasks

Desired Characteristics

Experience of the software design lifecycle within aerospace automotive or similar development environment this could have been gained through a placement / internship or from direct work experience
Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS) or safety-critical development
Knowledge of DO-178C
Knowledge of model based design
