The Medical Humanities Program seeks an instructor to teach the Literature in Medicine course. This course explores the connections between literature health illness and the practice of medicine.
Essential Functions
- Selecting six books that examine themes relevant to medicine and the human condition.
- Lead class discussions with medical students to help students engage critically and reflectively with literary works.
- Encourage connections between narrative understanding empathy and clinical practice.
