Oncology Focused Urologist (General Urology Expertise Required)Position OverviewHCA Florida JFK Hospital a 516-bed acute care facility is seeking a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Urologist with strong proficiency in general urology and advanced training or experience in urologic oncology to join our distinguished medical staff in Palm Beach County. This position represents a founding opportunity to establish and lead the hospitals first comprehensive oncology-focused urology program within our Comprehensive Cancer Center. The selected physician will provide a full spectrum of general and oncologic urology services while helping to shape the long-term direction of an integrated urologic oncology service line in partnership with our established oncology radiation therapy and surgical HighlightsProvide comprehensive general urology services including diagnosis and management of BPH kidney stones incontinence erectile dysfunction and urinary tract a wide range of oncologic urologic surgeries including prostate bladder kidney testicular adrenal and other reproductive system partnership with radiation oncologists medical oncologists surgical oncologists pathologists and radiologists deliver coordinated multidisciplinary cancer to multiple daVinci Xi and DV5 platforms for advanced minimally invasive and robotic with a robust team of medical radiation and surgical oncologists to deliver integrated patient-centered in multidisciplinary tumor boards clinical research initiatives and cancer center program as the founding member of a larger strategically planned group designed to evolve into a regional center of excellence in urologic for leadership in program design physician recruitment and quality in Graduate Medical Education (GME) by teaching and mentoring residents and medical by dedicated oncology nurse navigators and a strong administrative in Palm Beach County one of Floridas most desirable Eligible or Board Certified in Urology (ABU).Fellowship training or advanced experience in Urologic Oncology preferred though strong general urologists with oncologic surgical expertise will be in robotic and minimally invasive surgery commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care and program communication and interpersonal for Florida medical Package:Highly competitive compensation package including base salary and productivity benefits including health dental vision and 401(k) with company time off CME allowance and relocation state income tax in -based malpractice insurance provided.
