Corporate Counsel for T-Mobile Secure Federal Operations (TSFO) supporting sensitive and classified contracting opportunities and advising on the full spectrum of Federal contracting and compliance matters. Represent the organization on other legal matters as assigned. Prepare supporting legal documents such as briefs contracts patent applications and other filings. Provide counsel to managers on legal matters impacting managers areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Review draft and negotiate contracts subcontracts MSAs reseller agreements teaming agreements OTAs non-disclosure agreements and other documents relating to the sale of products and services as a Prime Contractor to Federal state and local government agencies and as a subcontractor to other government contractors.

• Review solicitations/RFPs/RFQs for adherence to TSFO and T-Mobile policies and legal requirements and provide cradle-to-grave contract support from proposal stage through contract negotiation/award performance and disputes and expiration/termination.

• Serve as the embedded legal Subject Matter Expert on Go To Market teams ensuring legal and government contract compliance considerations are incorporated into product development efforts.

• Serve as the embedded legal Subject Matter Expert on SOW/PWS review team ensuring the SOW/PWS are consistent with contract obligations and corporate policies.

• Coordinate preparation and filing of standard forms related to Federal contracting.

• Administer new contract awards and independently review modifications and amendments for accuracy and/or needed changes in alignment with contract requirements and company policies.

• Maintain accurate contract records within the companys Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.

• Represent the organization as a customer-facing contact for contract negotiations.

• Also responsible for other duties/projects assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• US Citizenship required.

• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one is required.

• A U.S. law degree and admission to at least one state bar is required.

• 4-7 years of Federal government contracting experience as an attorney with a government agency in-house legal department and/or law firm.

• Expertise in federal government contracts law including FAR DFARS federal procurement statutes and regulations.

• Experience with major GSA DoD and other Federal contract vehicles preferred as is familiarity with FISMA/NIST cybersecurity compliance and Section 508 accessibility compliance.

• Familiarity with FOCI-mitigation.

• Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) is desired.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Juris Doctor or equivalent.

• Pre-employment background and drug screen.

• Employment may be contingent upon retaining or obtaining security clearance.

This position is located in T-Mobiles Herndon VA office. It requires physical presence on site with regular local travel to locations in and around the Washington DC metro area.

Base Pay Range: $123200 - $222200

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as work location qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile employees in regular non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
