Financial controller

The role involves among other things analyzing and overseeing financial and economic matters within the company.
The Controller participates in the budgeting process and supports various departments of the company (both internal and external). They act as a business partner to the Plant Director.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the financial and accounting operations of the plant

• Responsibility for the plants balance sheet reporting (PL GAAP/US GAAP)

• Providing periodic financial reports on operational activities (current results forecasts budget KPIs etc.)

• Managing the complete month-end closing process

• Ensuring full compliance with and continuous improvement of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

• Focus on ongoing improvement and simplification of processes

• Participation in the annual valuation of finished goods

• Ensuring operational financial reporting financial analysis and production cost analysis by:
  

1. Preparing and managing actual forecasted and budget scenarios throughout the year analyzing variances interpreting results and assessing their impact on plant operations in accordance with SBD principles and practices (US GAAP) as well as PL GAAP

2. Providing management with strategic tools and reports to achieve business results (including standard costs hourly rates inventory adjustments material and service costs capital expenditures etc.)

• Proactive communication with management; providing information through data collection and summarization; preparing reports; presenting results analyses and recommendations

• Daily cooperation with various business teams management at different levels of the organizational structure as well as with the Shared Services Center (SSC) team Account Payable/Fixed Asset/General Ledger

Requirements:

• Higher education preferred fields: Finance Economics Accounting

• At least 3 years of experience as a Controller in the manufacturing industry (Finance)

• Knowledge of US GAAP standards will be an additional asset

• Highly developed analytical skills; experience in forecasting and budgeting

• Proficient English skills (spoken and written) enabling fluent communication

• Experience working with ERP systems (knowledge of SAP will be an additional asset)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

• Strong analytical and business thinking abilities

• Results-oriented well-organized able to meet deadlines

• Reliability professionalism discretion and the ability to make independent decisions

Kontroler uczestniczy w procesie budżetowania oraz wspiera poszczególne działy firmy (zarówno wewnętrzne jak i zewnętrzne). Pełnią rolę partnera biznesowego Dyrektora Zakładu.

Zakres obowiązków:

• Odpowiedzialność za działalność finansową i księgową zakładu

• Odpowiedzialność za sprawozdawczość bilansową zakładu (zgodnie z PL GAAP/US GAAP)

• Sporządzanie okresowych raportów finansowych z działalności operacyjnej (bieżące wyniki prognozy budżet wskaźniki KPI itp.)

• Zarządzanie całym procesem zamknięcia miesiąca

• Zapewnienie pełnej zgodności z wymogami ustawy Sarbanes-Oxley i ciągłego doskonalenia

• Koncentracja na ciągłym doskonaleniu i upraszczaniu procesów

• Udział w corocznej wycenie wyrobów gotowych

• Zapewnienie sprawozdawczości finansowej analizy finansowej i analizy kosztów produkcji poprzez:
  
  1. Przygotowywanie i zarządzanie scenariuszami rzeczywistymi prognozowanymi i budżetowymi w ciągu roku analiza odchyleń interpretacja wyników i ocena ich wpływu na działalność zakładu zgodnie z zasadami i praktykami SBD (US GAAP) oraz PL GAAP
  2. Dostarczanie kadrze zarządzającej strategicznych narzędzi i raportów w celu osiągnięcia wyników biznesowych (w tym kosztów standardowych stawek godzinowych korekt zapasów kosztów materiałów i usług nakładów inwestycyjnych itp.)

• Proaktywna komunikacja z kadrą zarządzającą; dostarczanie informacji poprzez zbieranie i podsumowywanie danych; przygotowywanie raportów; prezentowanie wyników analiz i rekomendacji

• Codzienna współpraca z różnymi zespołami biznesowymi kadrą zarządzającą na różnych poziomach struktury organizacyjnej a także z zespołem Centrum Usług Wspólnych (SSC) Rachunki Dostawców/Środki Trwałe/Księga Główna

Wymagania:

Wykształcenie wyższe preferowane kierunki: finanse ekonomia rachunkowość

Co najmniej 3-letnie doświadczenie na stanowisku kontrolera w branży produkcyjnej (finanse)

Znajomość standardów US GAAP będzie dodatkowym atutem

Wysoko rozwinięte umiejętności analityczne; doświadczenie w prognozowaniu i budżetowaniu

Biegła znajomość języka angielskiego (w mowie i piśmie) umożliwiająca płynną komunikację

Doświadczenie w pracy z systemami ERP (znajomość SAP będzie dodatkowym atutem)

Doskonałe umiejętności komunikacyjne i interpersonalne

Zaawansowana znajomość programu MS Excel

Wysokie zdolności analityczne i biznesowe
