DK Consulting LLC works with multiple State Federal and Commercial customers and our services range from providing customers with that one critical resource to assuming responsibility for an entire IT project.

The client is seeking a Power Apps Developer with 12 years of overall IT experience including strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform technologies. The selected candidate will support the design development enhancement and maintenance of enterprise applications that support SHAs business operations workflows and data modernization initiatives.

Client: Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA)

Work Location: 707 N. Calvert Street Baltimore Maryland. Three days onsite two days remote with the first two weeks being 100% onsite

Interview Mode: In person

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps) to support SHA business processes
• Develop and customize Power Automate workflows to streamline approvals notifications and data integrations
• Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards for operational and executive-level insights
• Integrate Power Platform solutions -based applications REST APIs and third-party systems
• Develop enhance and maintain applications using C# .NET Core MVC and Web APIs
• Work with Dataverse SharePoint SQL Server and other relational data sources
• Gather and analyze business requirements; translate them into technical solutions
• Provide production support troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Ensure applications comply with State of Maryland security accessibility and governance standards
• Prepare technical documentation user guides and knowledge transfer materials
• Collaborate with project managers business analysts and infrastructure teams
• Participate in in-person meetings design sessions and stakeholder reviews at SHA facilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field
• 12 years of overall IT experience
• 6 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI)
• Strong experience technologies (C# .NET Core Web APIs)
• Experience integrating Power Platform with applications
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server
• Experience working in enterprise or government environments
• Solid understanding of application security role-based access and data governance
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work onsite with state stakeholders
