The Associate Kids Minister works with theKids Ministerto lead a team of dream teamers that execute the weekend experience and manage the implementation of systems that create a safe fun and life-changing ministry for kids parents and dream teamers. They also lead the day-to-day operations of thekidsministry.

Your Day-to-Day

Every day looks different butheresa snapshot of whatyoullbe up to:

• Recruit develop and empower dreamteamersso they areoperatingin their strengths andaccomplishingthe mission ofBattleCreekKids.

• Ensure dream teamers and rooms are set up and ready toserveso the overall operation of the weekend is meeting expectation.

• Build strong relationships with dream teamers by connecting weekly via phone call or in-person.

• Oversee dream team orientation and training that includesappropriate placementof volunteers.

• Communicate daily with theKids Ministerto help reach all listed ministry specific and campus goals.

• Lead day-to-day operations of thekidsministry while balancing tasks and relational aspects of the role.

• Perform other church duties as assigned by theKids Ministerto help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ

The must-haves for this role:

• At least 1 years experience gained through increasing positions within discipline preferred

• Models the standards and expectations of a covenant member atBattleCreekChurch including:

profession of Jesus Christ Baptism by immersion commitment to personal spiritual growthmembershipand worship atBattleCreekChurch community group participation a lifestyle of tithing and generosity and serving out of a call and giftedness.

• Enjoy building relationships with parents dream teamers and kids

• Have strong attention to detail and organization skills

• Take ownership of your own development while also developing a team

• Communicate and listen well

• Enjoy working in a multi-site environment

Depending on the role you might find yourself in an office on stage out in the community or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may berequireditsall part of ministry life!

This role is primarily office-based but may involve some physical activity including standing lifting (up to 20 pounds) kneeling setting up equipment orprepping foreventssometimes even late at night.Dontworry;wellensure you know what to expect!

Required Experience:

IC
