Stoney Brook Copperas Cove has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-Time Dishwasher/Utility Workerto join our team.

Shifts:
- 7:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- 4 on 2 off rotation
- Holiday shifts on rotation
Responsibilities:
- Load run and unload dish machine.
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
- Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
- Keep the dish room clean and organized.
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
- Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designated times.
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
- Must be or become within 60 days an accredited food handler per State guidelines.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Be able to work in hot wet humid and loud environments for long periods of time.
- Great customer service attitude
- Ability to interact well with staff residents and guests
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Able to work independently or work with others in the completion of assigned tasks.
- Ability to speak read & write English.
- Must be willing to undergo a routine background check.
