Job Summary
Transform Amazons transportation infrastructure by leveraging strategic vendor relationships and driving critical procurement this role youll be the key catalyst for expanding our Middle Mile fleet capabilities using your analytical skills to optimize spending and support Amazons commitment to operational excellence.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic solutions for complex procurement challenges
- Manage vendor relationships and external contractor interactions
- Develop comprehensive project plans and meet critical departmental goals
- Ensure rigorous accounting processes and accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate purchase order management and cross-business unit spend reconciliation
A day in the life
Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic problem-solving and collaborative vendor management. Youll dive deep into purchasing patterns reconcile complex spending across business units and develop innovative solutions that directly impact Amazons transportation network.
About the team
We are the Launch Execution Adoption and Facilities (LEAF) team a dynamic group dedicated to providing critical infrastructure services across multiple Amazon business units. Our work is essential to keeping Amazons transportation network moving efficiently and effectively.
- High school or equivalent diploma
- 1 years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
- 1 years of experience in project construction or customer-service facing role
- 2 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Can work proactively and independently meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in financial modeling P&L management or analysis or experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround or experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses or experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $94900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
