Travelers 2. PRN staff 3. Date last floated Patient Experience requirements: We are working on nurse s courtesy and respect and working together as a team to care for patientsHospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS BLSHiring profileRequested Skill Set:Must have: ACLS BLS NIHAdvanced skills needed:The Telemetry & Pulm Step Down Unit (Tele/Pulm) cares for patients with moderate physiologic instability requiring support. Examples include COPD exacerbation pneumonia CHF & trach patients. Tele/Pulm patients are hemodynamically stable that require cardiac & respiratory monitoring & management every 2-4 hours. The level of care of the Tele/Pulm unit requires less care than the ICU but more than that which is provided in the Medical/Surgical Units. This unit specializes in the care of cardiac and pulmonary performed on unit: Oxygen therapy to include:Nasal Cannula: AllBIPAP/CPAP: up to 80% AirVo: Low Flo Nursing Interventions:At least every 3-4 hours Vital Signs:Every 4 hoursContinuous cardiac monitoring Blood Glucose Monitoring:Every 4 hours Neurological monitoring:Any frequencyNIHSS Certifications Required: ACLS BLS NIH Dress Code: (Required uniform) Royal BlueUnit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
