Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care on a Med Surg/Tele Float unit adapting to various like units within their skill set. Responsibilities include patient care medication administration and monitoring patient conditions. The role requires at least two years of experience and the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends.
Location:Olympia Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients on Med Surg/Tele units.
- Float between various like units based on skill set.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- BCLS certification.
- Telemetry experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
- MAB certification.
- NIH certification.
- Charge Nurse experience.
Special Considerations:
- Must float between various like units within skill set.
- Weekend work is required every other weekend.
- Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility will not be eligible for a travel contract.
Scheduling:
- 3 or 4x12HR DAY shifts.
- Rotating shifts.
- Weekend work required every other weekend.
