Job Title : Cloud Data Architect (Snowflake Informatica FHIR Azure Healthcare Analytics)
Location: Austin TX (Hybrid - AUSTIN AREA ONLY) (Within 50-mile radius)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Mandatory Qualifications - Extensive experience in data architecture data modeling and data warehousing across both on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong background in business intelligence analytics and big data solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven expertise in designing deploying and managing cloud-based applications and data storage solutions
- Deep understanding of data architecture principles standards and best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and enterprise database technologies
- Experience with ETL tools data integration platforms and APIs
- Proven ability to architect and design ETL pipelines including hands-on experience with Informatica
- Experience designing and modeling cloud-based data architectures using Snowflake as a primary data platform
- Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools techniques and strategies
- Experience leading and managing complex analytics and data architecture initiatives
- Ability to develop and maintain enterprise data models data warehouses and data lakes
- Experience integrating EHR systems APIs and real-time data streaming solutions
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards including FHIR CCDA and HL7
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure management including cloud security data storage options and deployment best practices
- Experience evaluating and integrating emerging technologies such as AI machine learning and big data analytics particularly in healthcare environments
Preferred Qualifications - Experience implementing and deploying big data applications
- Hands-on expertise in Python and/or Java/Scala
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks hybrid cloud deployments and on-premise to cloud migration strategies
- Prior experience within the healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of information management principles SDLC IT processes and enterprise architecture
- Consulting and facilitation skills with the ability to guide stakeholders through technical decisions
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated proactive leadership self-motivation and strong attention to detail
- Certifications such as TOGAF Cloud Solution Architect (Azure AWS or GCP)
- Experience working with Texas or other state eligibility systems
Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture solutions supporting analytics and reporting initiatives
- Architect and manage cloud-based data platforms including Snowflake data warehouses and data lakes
- Design develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data integration solutions
- Collaborate closely with data engineers developers analysts and business stakeholders to ensure data accessibility and usability
- Drive the integration of EHR systems healthcare APIs and real-time data streams
- Establish and enforce data architecture standards governance and best practices
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies including AI and machine learning to enhance analytics capabilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data and analytics teams
- Communicate architectural strategies risks and recommendations to executive and non-technical audiences
- Support enterprise initiatives involving cloud migration modernization and advanced analytics transformation
