This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced staffing and recruiting environment.
As a Locum Radiologist you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services and consultations. You will work closely with healthcare facilities to ensure that patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall effectiveness of our healthcare partners allowing us to maintain high standards of medical care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Provide timely reports and consultations based on imaging findings
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and practices
- Support training and education of medical staff as needed
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license for California
- Experience in radiology with a focus on diagnostic imaging
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with radiology software and imaging technology
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Onsite weekend call shifts available
Setting: Remote or onsite
Daily Volume: 40-50 outpatient studies
90% MRI reads 10% CT reads
Support Staff: 4-5 other faculty
EMR: Epic
PACS: Visage
Dictation: Powerscribe
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
