Job Overview:
IIQAF Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care within hospital and healthcare settings across Canada. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills a patient-centered approach and experience delivering safe effective care while complying with Canadian healthcare standards.
This role plays a vital part in supporting patient well-being clinical operations and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs symptoms and health conditions
- Administer medications injections and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with patient assessments care plans and documentation
- Support patients with daily living activities and mobility assistance
- Maintain accurate records in EMR/EHR systems
- Follow infection control patient safety and hospital protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare teams
- Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies
- Ensure compliance with provincial nursing regulations and healthcare policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Canada
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Experience working in hospital clinical or healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures patient care and medical terminology
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Excellent communication teamwork and time-management skills
- Compassionate patient-focused and detail-oriented approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in acute care medical-surgical long-term care or specialty units
- Current CPR / BLS certification
- Familiarity with Canadian healthcare standards and patient safety practices
- Willingness to work rotating shifts weekends and holidays
