Quality CoordinatorJob Description Summary
AAM is searching for a Quality Coordinator to join our team. This position will be based out of our North Vernon IN location.As a Quality Coordinator you will be responsible for maintaining the quality assurance function to assure all quality systems meet requirements of IATF16949. You would be responsible for supervising and mentoring a trained technical staff as you maintain the Quality Assurance Program from incoming materials through finished goods inventory. Additionally as Quality Coordinator you will step into responsibilities necessary to ensure continued quality operations in the absence of the Quality Manager.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelors degree or relevant professional experience.
7-10 years experience in a quality manufacturing environment.
3 years experience training and managing teams.
Strong experience with Quality processes (8D 5Why Fishbone etc)
Strong experience managing documentation (FMEA APQP PPAP GD&T 5S).
Experienced in IATF16949 audits.
Strong knowledge of Supplier Quality.
